Bringing Joy to Broken Hearts
Donate NowIn the narrow alleys of Jerusalem, in the Zichron Moshe neighborhood, dozens of impoverished, lonely, and destitute people gather every week. They know – on Tuesday afternoons, the messenger from "Lechem Lasova" arrives, carrying hot, nourishing meat meals. A weekly meal of dignity, warmth, and life.
Some take their meal quietly and disappear into the shadows of their homes so no one will see. Others have no home at all – they sit in the synagogue to eat in peace, feeling, for one moment, like a human being among others.
But above all – a great joy happens here. People with broken hearts find comfort and nourish their souls.
Their brothers have not forgotten them. Every warm meal is more than just food; it is a sense of belonging. It grants them the strength to keep going.
They offer blessings, moved to tears, never ceasing to thank those who were the messengers to satisfy their hunger and gladden their hearts.
And there are more – more people, more hunger, more lonely souls – waiting to join. This is your opportunity to reach out, save a heart from hunger, and witness true goodness.
